Doctoring my new sandals

I just got these sandals this weekend and I wasn't totally in love with them, but I just really wanted some new shoes. After purchasing, I realized that I could cut off the orange straps on them and maybe make them more everyday wearable. Here is the original, and following is the photoshopped version. Worth doctoring??

Return address stamp

I've always wanted to design a return address stamp for myself. Here's a few similar stamp ideas I like:

Bedframe design

OK for all that talk of just buying a metal frame and nice bedskirt, i came across this photo i took at the san jose, and i want! i think i could make it with 12" wide no 2 pine planks.... not the best material, but simple, maybe i can just paint it? so the bed would be pine planks with a longer plank along the wall to create side tables, i guess that would be on a ledger, and the bed planks sit on 2 long perpendicular vertical planks underneath. frame is open below. what do you think?
